What’s your name and where are you from?
Sean Thomas Lowe! I’m from Salmon Arm BC, which isn’t sayin’ much…

How is Salmon Arm for skating??
It’s ok now, like before this year there was absolutely nothing to skate. Our park was weak and we had to resort to plywood, and waxing ledges that should never be touched - but it paid off, I love skate!

2008 was a big year for you sponsorship-wise, how has that affected you and what’s in store for 2009?
Well, with tremendous support from family, friends, and my girlfriend, I have been able to take my skating further than I have before. Sponsorship has helped out tremendously....not paying for boards, clothing, shoes, travel, etc, allows me to do things I’d never thought possible. As for 2009 - you will have to wait and see, pushin’ mad shit out haha!

You’ve been making more trips out here to Van, who do u roll with out here?
Well, when I come out to Vancity, pretty much the locs at plaza, Joel my homie/photographer, Jorden Murray, Chad Dickson - any one who's down to shred. I love Vancity, every one is super chill.

What’s your fav street spot here? Why?
I’d have to say Scotia ledge was my favorite, it sucks it’s capped now, but I’m happy to have gotten a trick on it before that happened. RIP.

Filming or photos?
That’s a toughy, they’re both wicked. I’d have to say photos though, they bring out so much other stuff around you. But on the other hand, footy can show the gnarliness of a spot that sometimes a photo can’t. I’m split 50/50 on that.

Do you eat Cornpops with pop instead of milk? I think that's how you got all your damn pop son, what you figure?
Haha, naw man. I do 100 squat thrusts a day. Keep those quads workin!

Trouble trick for you?
Regular heelflips. I don’t get ‘em!

How do you feel about contests?
Contests make skating suck, there’s so much pressure. For me that takes away from the reason I started skating - to not be like any other team sport. Keep it in the streets where it’s supposed to be.

If you could have a game of skate with anybody who would it be?
Ryan Gallant! Perfect style!

What gets you motivated to go skate everyday?
Knowing that my girlfriend supports everything I do....I dunno how I would do it without her, other than that - the clear blue sky, a redbull, and my ipod!

What’s worse: Landing primo or getting a shinner?
Primo for sure!!! A shin bruise can last 10 mins, but bruising the soles of your feet will take you out for a week...dope that rhymed haha.
